Learners could document their efforts by taking photographs. The educator can contact the local newspaper to cover the story, and photos will be included in the article.  This documentation can also be included in the school magazines.

Learners could conduct interviews with people from the sport centre which has been adopted, to find out how they feel about the new, improved sport facility.

Liaise with other local schools to host an inter-school competition to see which school can make to most improvement to the area, obtain sponsorship from businesses and get as much publicity as possible (from radio stations, newspapers, television)

Other schools could also be invited to participate in a sporting challenge at the new venue. This championship could be used to raise further funds for the improvement of the venue.

Invite a local sportsman to hand out trophies at the championship.  Ask the sporting personality to give short speech on the benefits of sport and sports tourism.
