GTTP United Kingdom
The GTTP UK is managed by the Institute for Travel and Tourism (ITT) as part of its work with young people seeking careers in the industry. The ITT is the professional membership body for individuals employed in the travel and tourism industry.
Through its industry and educational networks, ITT will be working to ensure that teachers and learners have access to GTTP materials. GTTP UK will be offering PASSPORT as a resource to those delivering the new Diploma in Travel and Tourism, being taught in schools and colleges starting in September 2010. Visit www.tandtdiploma.co.uk for more information.
Established in 1956, the ITT is committed to raising professional standards within travel and tourism through links with education and industry as well as organising monthly regional networking evenings, golf days, farm trips, informal suppers and conferences aimed at all levels of membership, from Students to Fellows. For more information visit www.itt.co.uk. Leading organisations including TUI (UK), ABTA and The Co-operative Travel Group are represented on the Advisory Board for GTTP UK.
